(( About Dialogs ))

Dialogs are recorded discussions between 2 to 3 classmates about a digital story or other topic from the dialog-list. Organize yourselves in Slack OR independently with something like When is Good or Doodle.

There are no right or wrong answers in your dialog, but you must actively participate and always be respectful.

Dialog requirements:

  • 2 classmates: 15 – 25 minutes
  • 3 classmates: 20 – 30 minutes
  • What did you like/dislike?
  • How might this be used to shape your own teaching and learning?
  • What was your biggest takeaway?

No Repeats: As an individual, you cannot cover the same topic more than once.  And you cannot partner with the same classmates more than once. You will need a new topic and new partners for each dialog.

Hosts can get credit for the Master of Ceremonies (MC) Challenge . As host you will handle all the logistics with classmates; lead & record the discussion, edit & enhance the discussion, upload the discussion, and submit a link to the completed Dialog once all is said and done.   See the MC Challenge for details.

Participants agree to the topic, the platform, the proposed day/time, to show-up and to actively participate. Participants agree to view the topic/story prior to the meeting and come prepared to discuss their experience. As a group – meet, record your dialog, be respectful, and have an authentic class discussion.

There are no right or wrong answers in your dialog, but you must actively participate and always be respectful.
